Monday, August 9.2010

Well, I so looked forward to the weekend and it wasn't good. I finished my blood transfusion on Friday. I cried alot on Thursday to what the blood dr. told us . Then I longed for just one of my family members to offer to go. Noone did and that just plain out hurt. Then on Saturday we went to the once a month breakfast here in town. I thought we would come home and do something. Well, we did we slept! LOL We had to go to town that night because I had a family reunion on Sunday and needed something to take. We ran out of gas , goto town and realized we had no checks on us. I gave up ! Went home and went to bed.
On Sunday we ran to town to get the things we needed. I fixed them and we went to the family reunion. Was glad to see everyone. We helped clean up and was getting ready to leave when my sister in law's phone rang. It was her brother telling her to get to her Dad's. When she got there he was already gone. I texted her and told her to let me know how things were when she could. Melissa texted me back and said she thought he was gone. I instantly started crying as Bill was part of our family. He was at every birthday party and came to our holiday meals. I sat next to him in Church . When the Pastor would say Lets all stand and prayer. Bill always told me You first and then I will follow. He was our friend ,family and we all loved him!!We kept our nieces and nephews while everyone went to the hospital. They was hurt and I wished I could had taken their pain away. My 15 yr old niece was upset because she never told her Grandpa the night before that she loved him or goodbye. I was honest with her and told her that is why I ALWAYS tell them to kiss me goodbye because they may never have the chance again. It costs nothing for a kiss or hug and it always make someone feel loved. My 11 yr old nephew called me today just to talk . I know that he is hurting and I wish I could take it all away. I told the kids that the most important thing is to ALWAYS remember what Grandpa told them . That he always loved them and was proud of them. GoodBye Bill ~~ I will miss you ~~~

Thrusday , August 5,2010

I am so excited !! I got the background on my blog to change and I found my url . WOOO HOOO for me!!
Last night after I posted I had to shut down my computer as we had a HUGE storm blow up. The lightning was ALOT. It rained so hard ! But we needed it for our gardens and flowers. Hopefully we will get a few more tomatoes now. I thought the storm was absolutely beautiful! I love a good thunder storm.
Today I had to go to my blood specialist. The out come was not the news I wanted to hear but I will keep going along. Unfortunately, the blood thinner I take to keep my blood from clotting is hurting me. It also doesn't help that we have factor 5 and that I am anemic. The Doctor told me the only thing I could keep doing was taking a blood transfusion every few months and continue with my weekly iron treatments. Not the greatest news that I could had heard but my situation is something that could be handled.
Tomorrow I am off to the hospital to finish the blood transfusion that was started a weeks ago . I couldn't finish it yet as I developed a ear infection and fever over the weekend.

Been a long long time !!

Tuesday, July 6, 2010

Well, HELLO strangers!! It has been a long time since I have blogged. So much has went on !! I first stopped blogging because my heart hurt so bad when my dog Minnie was put to sleep. I just felt like life had ended for me. Then my sister in April of last yr. told us she was expecting!! Her only child at the time was 10 yrs old so I really was excited for them. Then in May she developed a blood clot in her thigh. Amber was in the hospital for a few days. The blood Dr. found out she had factor 5 and needed shots to keep her blood thin. I feel that dealing with all this made her a very moody person and she took alot of this out on me. I spent a few months without her and I was really hurt. I felt like I couldn't get along without her. But I did. On December 4 2010 the best gift I could ever received entered into our world!! Maximus Clayton-James Webb was born. The first time I held him all I could do was Thank God for this perfect gift!! The hurt that I felt was gone. MY perfect Max was here.
He has been a total dream come true. Everytime he sees me is like he is seeing me for the first time. He grins the biggest grin and knows who I am ! He makes life so worth while.
Then on December 17 2010 my GREAT niece Myra-Lynn Agnes was born. She was so tiny but so beautiful! I was so proud that my niece was giving her part of my name. Michelle asked me when she knew it was a girl if she could give her the middle name Agnes. I was so proud that she loved me that much that she wanted to give her daughter part of my name. So of course I said YES!!
Both of the babies are growing like weeds !! Hard to believe that they are 7 months old this month. Max is now sitting up and crawling. He has one tooth. He is such a joy!!
Myra has 4 teeth and rolling over. She is not interested in sitting up or crawling . But when she is ready WATCH OUT!!
My husband Robert was laid off for almost 2 yrs. He is FINALLY back to work! He has been at this job for almost 6 months. I am so proud of him. He tries so hard to provide for us. So I think we are starting to climb out of our hole and getting back to where we should be.
The rest of my family is here and doing ok. Hopefully I will keep up with my blog !! I have had a few medical problems but I will add that in at a later time. I am more hoping to get back into doing the daybook as I had enjoyed it so. Well, I think I will close this for now and post a picture of one of my beautiful flowers that I have so enjoyed!!
